Coloring Down the Lines – Pistachio Pudding

Hello Ladies!

Well you would not believe the issues I had with my card today.  I have always struggled with adding sentiments to my cards.  Often I want an uplifting fun sentiment and I do not have one.  I thought okay I will use some of the sentiments in my MDS.  I went in and found the sentiment I wanted to use.  I set it up and wanted to print it in a color I was to use for my color.  Well I went in and looked for Baked Brown Sugar and discovered I did not have any of the new in colors.  I tried several things and could not get them to load.  I turned to the experts in one of my forums and they told me what to do.  When I did their suggestion, it went back to what I had.  So I had to call demonstrator support.  I talked to a helpful lady named Nicole.  She explained to me to do what I had already tried which I explained did not work.  She put me on hold and checked with someone else in the office.  When she came back she explained that the lady in the office had the same issue with her program as well as other people.  She further explained that the tech team was gone for the day.  She had to create an incidence report and someone will contact me.  So needless to say I did not get the new colors.  I ended up choosing a color I thought might be close to the color I wanted.  In the end it almost matches perfectly – probably because I am close to needing to replace some of my ink.  I was now ready to finish my project.

This week we could choose

Pistachio Pudding, Baked Brown Sugar, Crisp Cantaloupe

                                              OR

Pistachio Pudding, Smokey Slate, Strawberry Slush

For some reason the bottom combo did not appeal to me so I went with the first color combo.  I wanted to use a challenge on SUDSOL that was to CASE a card from the current Stampin’ Connection which is a magazine demos get every 2 months.  Here is the sample.

This was a fun card and easy to make.  I used the new clay and molds to make my button then added Crystal Effects to make it a little shiny.  Here is what I created.

I hope you enjoyed my card today.  Now it is time to hop on over to Carol’s blog – Carol’s Cards to see which colors she chose and her card.  Thanks for looking and have a Wonderful Wednesday!
