Coloring Down the Lines – Pool Party

Good Morning Everyone!

Well the deep freeze is almost over.  I am curious to see what my electric bill will be.  I hope we don’t get this cold again in another 20 years!

Today is our Coloring Down the Lines blog hop.  This week our colors were

Pool Party, Crushed Curry, Old Olive

                         OR
Pool Party, Wild Wasabi, Chocolate Chip

Our added piece this week was to use circles.

I wasn’t certain what to do to use circles.  I recently got the Take Ten magazine and in there they had used circles to make flowers.  I decided to see what I could do with this idea.

Since I knew I was going to make flowers, I went with the first color combo as I felt it would be easier to make flowers with those colors.  I punched my circles then using my scissors I snipped the edges.  I attached 2 different sized circles and ruffled the edges.  The finishing touch was to add a pearl in the center.   Here is what I created.

So what do you think of my flowers?  I love the look of them.  They are easy to make also.  My card is very similar to the one I saw in the Take Ten magazine.  How about you, can you find a card in a magazine and remake it?

Now it is time to hop on over to Carol’s blog – Carol’s Cards to see what she did with these colors.  Thanks for visiting me today.  I hope you were inspired by my card.  Have a Wonderful Wednesday!
