Concord Boho Blossoms

It’s Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!  Do you know what that means?  You guessed it, it is Sketch Frenzy Friday.  Time to play with a new sketch.

Our sketch today was created by Melinda Couden.  Here is what she gave us to work with.

When I saw this I was originally going to do the long card but I hardly ever need or send long cards so I modified the size – have to put my spin on it! 🙂

I have been trying some different color combinations lately.  Needed to spice up my card!  I started with Concord Crush and using the color combo site I added Pear Pizzazz.  I wanted another color so I did a new search with those colors and Crumb Cake popped up and I liked it so now I have my colors. 

I was going to do some punching of ds paper for the 4 scallop elements.  Since I was going to use a regular sized card, I had to change my punch.  I decided to use the Boho Blossoms punch.  I punched the flower and the leaf from the In Color 6 x 6 pad that is a hostess gift.  This is definitely different from my usual style.  Here is my creation.
