Crafting through the Months
Hello Everyone – do you like taking an idea and using it for Crafting through the Months?
I love showing you how you can use an idea and make cards for different months/seasons. I do it a lot in my Lives. It is a great way to show how versatile your supplies can be. It is also a great way to beat the crafting block as you already have the idea and just need different dsp or stamp set. Look at the 3 ideas I shared in my Facebook Live.
The dsp used for today’s cards are All About Autumn, Them Bones, and Beary Christmas. All of the dsp is available for purchase today. You can also #ShopYourCraftStash and use your own paper. The same is true for the stamp sets. Always see if you have something you can use!
To see each card and the details better, here are some close ups. Look at how it is the same layout but looks differently depending on the dsp and images you use.
You can also use a variety of embellishments for the cards. I used ribbon with brushed metallic dots for the Fall card. The Halloween card uses pearls and glow in the dark ghosts and bats. The third card for Christmas uses the pearls. Love how each card uses similar items.
The cards show how you can use the same image or even a sentiment as a focal point. I can see this layout being used for Winter with snowflakes or snowmen, Valentine’s day with hearts, or even 4th of July with fireworks. What could you use this layout for?
While I used the same layout for all 3 cards here are some ideas for the same months/holidays. This is a simple Fall card that could easily be used for other ideas. For Halloween how about this card that is a nontraditional one for the holiday. And look at this idea that could also be a Fall or Halloween card with different dsp and sentiment.
