CutCardStock Happy Halloween night

Hello everyone – I did a lot of ink blending to create the CutCardStock Happy Halloween night card.
I ordered this spider web and wanted to use it to make a spooky night card. I pulled out several of my purple inks in various shades and started blending.
Today’s Project
I began by taking a mask that was 2″ and put it in the upper right hand corner. Then with my lightest purple I blended from the edges of the Cougar Smooth White in towards the center. Then I took a 2 1/4″ circle and placed it over top the first circle. I then chose the next darkest color and blended ink in towards the center but not as far as the first blend. Then I used the darkest shade and blended just the edges. To finish it off I used black to do the corners.

To complete the background I used a stencil to add some bats. I punched out a 1 3/4″ Lemon Drop circle and stenciled on a bat and added some orange around the lower edge. The spider web die was used with Onyx Stardream metallic to give the spider web a shiny look. After adding the panel to the Aubergine card base a sentiment and some sequins were added to complete the card.
