A cute birthday card

My card today was for a Gallery Idol challenge at Paper Crafts Connection. The challenge is to make an original birthday card. I had this image that I ordered online and wanted to use it. I thought it would make a cute birthday card. I stamped the image 2 times on white, 2 times on blue patterned paper, and 2 times on saffron patterned paper. I then cut out the pieces and did some paper piecing and layering.

Since it was a birthday card I wanted my background paper to reflect that. I did not have any birthday paper so I pulled out an old set that had candles in it and made my own. It is not visible in the picture, but I used a stardust gelly roll pen on the candles. It is really sparkly. Here is my creation.

Hope you enjoyed my card. I enjoyed making it and inking up this stamp. Thanks for looking and have a Fantastic Friday!
