My daughter and I had a great time. She has gotten a job and will be moving to New York so we spent a lot of time on the internet looking at apartments. We found some cute ones so we will be making a road trip after the New Year to find her some place to live.
While she was home we were talking about Christmas gifts for the girls she lives with. We had picked up some cute notebooks at Michael’s and decided to alter the front of them to reflect each girls personality. Here is what we came up with.
These were a lot of fun to make and so easy to do. I used some retired Stampin’ Up sets as well as TAC and stamps I had gotten at Michael’s. Then I added some ribbon or rhinestone brads. The key is to use sticky tape (I get mine at Taylored Expressions. It is white but it is the same as the red line tape). If you need a quick gift this is a cute one and it is easy to do.
I am very busy trying to finish up craft show items and Christmas gifts. I am going to try and do some sketch challenges and post them so you will have something to look at. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
