Daisy Delight and Navy Gingham Check

Hello Stampers ~ I used the Daisy Delight set again and created this Daisy Delight and Navy Gingham Check.

Well Jess came over last night.  We had a good 2 hours of work and we got a lot accomplished.  The back of my car is loaded with stuff I need to donate today.  I have someone coming to the house this morning and I will go out after that and drop off all the stuff.  It won’t take me long and then I will be back and taking some time to play.  I did not get any time yesterday so I want to do it today.  We did start packing up the stamp room yesterday.  There is some more I can do in there and I want to finish up upstairs as there is a little left up there to do.  I want to take the next 2 days and finish up the last of my commitments and Catalog Journey and then I can pack it all up until I get to the apartment.  I did get some news yesterday I was not expecting.  I thought the movers were delivering my things to the apartment on the 27th when I get the keys.  They told me today that they have scheduled for sometime between the 27th and the 1st of September.  It will be an interesting week with no furniture or bed.  My friend says there are plenty of people who can help me out.  Did change the way I was planning on packing my car.  Stay turned for further developments.

Our challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments is a color challenge this time.

I loved these colors together and when I saw them I immediately thought of my favorite stamp set ~ Daisy Delight.  I know I used that set yesterday so you are lucky and get 2 ideas in a row.  I stamped my daisies ~ 3 of each color ~ and punched them out.  I stamped the leaves with Granny Apple Green and cut them out.  I used a piece of Granny Apple Green card stock and the Layered Leaves embossing folder to create the background.  I added my Night of Navy gingham ribbon (which is very close to the Blueberry Bushel ink on the daisy) and attached the embossed panel.  My flowers were added with glue dots and the leaves were tucked underneath with glue dots.  I tied a bow and added it with glue dots.  To finish off my card, I added some clear faceted gems to the center of the daisies.  Here is my completed Daisy Delight and Navy Gingham Check creation.

Make sure you head on over to the Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge blog  to check out what the other ladies on the team created using these colors.  I am sure there is a lot of inspiration for you.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  Made a lot of phone calls yesterday canceling services and turning off electricity as well as made a hotel reservation for the Sunday until I can get into the apartment.  I am a little worried my car may not hold all my things that I have to take myself lol.  Wish me luck with the packing.  Have a Terrific Tuesday and do you think my Daisy Delight and Navy Gingham Check fits the color challenge?
