Daisy Delight in Lemon Lime Twist

Happy Monday Everyone ~ I have a fun Daisy Delight in Lemon Lime Twist creation for you today.

I changed my plans for yesterday.  It was not as hot as it normally has been so I decided to week my flower bed.  I started with the largest one and that is the only one I got done.  I had to stop and come in as it was a lot hotter than I thought it was.  It is suppsed to rain today so I might be able to get out there and do another one this evening.  We’ll see.  I have an appointment up the road and when I get back I will work in my craft room making some more cards for my Catalog Journey.  I have to finish my sets this week week as I need to pack up my craft room.  I also need to get my donations delivered this week as well as finish packing.  I will have a busy week!

For my Catalog Journey the next set was Daisy Delight.  The Daisy Delight set is one of my favorite sets.  There is another demo, Bronwyn Eastley, who posted a lot of color combinations for daisies when the set first came out.  I decided to use one of her color combos for my daisy today.  Here is the one I chose to use.

I decided to use the Lemon Lime Twist and Fresh Fig for the daisy.  I punched 3 of the daisies out of Lemon Lime Twist.  The sponge dauber was used with Fresh Fig ink to color the center.  The flowers were then layered using glue dots.  A clear faceted gem was added to the center.  For my card base I used Whisper White and embossed the front with the Polka Dot Basics embossing folder.  A strip of the Tranquil Textures designer series paper was added to a strip of Fresh Fig card stock and then was added to the card front using Tear & Tape.  My flower was then added with glue dots.  To finish my card I stamped the sentiment from Postcard Pals with Lemon Lime Twist ink and mounted it onto a piece of Lemon Lime Twist card stock.  The sentiment was added to the card front using dimensionals.  Here is my clean and simple Daisy Delight in Lemon Lime Twist.
