Darling Details dies – 2 cards from 1 die
Hello Everyone – the Darling Details dies – 2 cards from 1 die is a great way to get your money’s worth with a die.
I ordered the Darling Details dies as I loved the 2 larger dies. Imagine my surprise when I cut out one of the dies and it did not cut a frame like a thought it would. It actually cuts out a decorative center from a panel. Realizing this I decided to use the center piece to create another card. I cut the 2 different size frame dies from card stock and dsp. I then used the panel to create these cards.
I then took the piece that was cut out of each panel and used it as a decorative panel for another card. Here are the cards I created with the extra piece.
The Darling Details dies are part of a bundle but I did not order the stamp set. I loved the dies so I order them to see if I could use them without the stamp set. I want to play with some of the other dies and see what I can do with them. If you have not looked at the dies, check them out.
I used different embellishments on the cards. Check out the various gems and ribbon I used on each individual card.
I always make sure to decorate the inside of my card and envelope. Usually I use images from the card front to have a consistent theme throughout. I used the images from the cards to do that for these cards.
I have used the Darling Details dies a few times. This one took the smaller frame and die cut it then cut around the frame and reinserted the center to create this focal image. This card uses the frame again but this time I cut around the frame and left the center image out. So you can see these dies are very versatile.
