I had a hard time photographing this card. I am not sure why. Maybe it was the contrast between the pink and black. The pictures make the pink look harsh, but I used Pretty in Pink and it has a softer look.
I created this card using the color challenge from the Inkspirations blog. Mykeesha set the challenge to use Pretty in Pink, Basic Gray, Basic Black, and Whisper White. I love pink and black together so I was on this challenge quickly. I paired the colors with the sketch from Tracy at Eat Sleep Stamp. I wanted to use the same shape as the sketch rather than change it so to get the all the pieces with the same shape I first cut 3 squares each 1/4″ larger than the layer in front. Then I put all the edges on one side together and had the width staggered equally. I then cut the curved edge. I repeated this on the other 3 sides which then gave me 3 pieces of paper with the same shape in different sizes. Other than the glitter pen this is an all Stampin’ Up current card.. Here is the sketch and my creation.
