Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits by Stampin’ Up Card

Hello Ladies ~ I played with Occasions items along with Annual Catalog items to create my Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits by Stampin’ Up Card.

All of my plans got changed yesterday!  I had wanted to take some of the things I am donating to the different organizations.  When I called the one for clothes they only take items on Wednesday between 10 and 12.  It was close to 12 and there was no way I would make it in time.  So I changed my and decided to make my video for tomorrow.  Well that meant I had to find my supplies I needed which are still packed up for the painting.  It took me forever to find everything I needed.  Then I had to set up my taping area.  I could not use the shelf I usually use to hold my camera and my lights.  That meant I had to jury rig it.  I will share a photo of the set up tomorrow.

One of the Occasions items I ordered was the Myths & Magic dsp and washi tape.  Totally missed the stamp set and framelits.  I decided to see if I could use it with items from the Annual Catalog.  I love doing this and if you did not check out my current Creations of the Month here you should as I used the Petal Passion dsp with items from the Annual Catalog also.  So I looked at all of my items and realized the Detailed Dragonfly could be used with one of the dsp’s from the Myths & Magic suite.  This paper is fun to play with as it has glitter on it.  You know I love my bling so I had to play with it.  I chose the Bermuda Bay piece with circles.  I mounted the piece of dsp onto a piece of Bermuda Bay card stock.  Then I used the fun star washi tape from the suite to add a strip at the bottom.  You can never have too much bling!  This panel was mounted onto a Whisper White card base using dimensionals.  A piece of Basic Black card stock was used to cut out the set of connected dragonflies and was then added to the dsp panel using dimensionals.  To finish my card, I used the sentiment from Jar of Love and stamped it in Bermuda Bay.  Here is my Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits by Stampin’ Up Card.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  I am hoping to take some of the items I am donating to the organizations today, but it will depend on my calls I have scheduled.  Have a Great Day and do you like how I showed you how you can use Occasions items with Annual Catalog items in my Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits by Stampin’ Up Card?
