Happy Monday Stampers ~ I love playing with techniques and today I have an Emboss Resist Birthday Blossoms card for you.
I did not get a chance to play in my craft room yesterday so I will have a lot to get done today. I have some cards I need to make to send to my customers as well as I need to play with my Paper Pumpkin from July. I am hoping to have a full day of crafting but we’ll see if life throws me a curve ball.
It is time for another challenge at Make My Monday. This time our challenge is
#52
Gray and Pink
I love pink and adding gray to the mix is right up my alley. I thought it would be fun to play with an Emboss Resist Birthday Blossoms idea. I opted to use the single flower in Birthday Blossoms. I inked it up with Versamark and then Basic Gray so that I could emboss it with clear embossing powder. Next I inked the leaves up with Versamark and embossed them with clear embossing powder. To do the emboss resist, I began with Pink Pirouette ink and a sponge dauber in the center of the flowers. Next I used Blushing Bride and inked the petals. The leaves were were sponged with Basic Gray. After all the sponging was completed I used a soft cloth to buff the ink off of all the images. I wanted to add some sparkle so I chose to use the Silver Metallic edge ribbon at the top. The panel was added to a Blushing Bride card base. Here is my completed creation.
