Different Recessed Panel Technique for a Card

Happy Friday Everyone ~ new idea with a Different Recessed Panel Technique for a Card is up today.

Well today I am meeting with my tax lady to pay my taxes.  I am not happy that I have to pay in again this year.  I have got to do something so that I don’t have to keep paying in.  Anybody have any hints?  Since the new laws went into effect I cannot claim all the house deductions like you used to be able to.  Will be talking to my financial guy to see what we can do.  After I pay my taxes Jess and I are going to the bank to add her to my accounts.  I want to make sure if anything happens and I cannot pay my bills she can pay them for me.  It will be a busy day for the 2 of us.

I took the recessed panel idea and came up with a different configuration for it.  This one is a lot easier since it is rectangles.  I created 2 panels using a 1″ x 5 1/2″ strip of Garden Impressions designer series paper that I attached to a 1 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Shaded Spruce card stock.  I attached these 2 panels to the front of a Soft Sea Foam card base using strip dimensional tape.  I colored the flowered topiary from Vertical Greetings using Mango Medley, Melon Mambo, Night of Navy, and Shaded Spruce markers.  I then stamped it between the 2 side panels making sure it was centered side to side and top to bottom.  Guess What?  Your card is complete!  Here is my Different Recessed Panel Technique for a Card creation.
