Dots and Flowers Handmade Card

Good Morning Everyone ~ I have a cute Dots and Flowers Handmade Card to share with you today.

Well I managed to run my errands, get the bed set up, put up the shower curtain, and put some more kitchen things away.   I also went to the storage unit and found my towels, my craft room chair, and a few tables end tables that I could put in the Great Sunroom and Jess’s bedroom.  I even put a light on the table in her bedroom so she has a light in there for this weekend.  I did not get into my craft room so I will have to do that today.  I also need to go down and vote as I will not be here when they have voting.  Since I will be downtown I will also go over and change the address on my license.  I think everything will then be changed over.  I still have some items to mail off to change my address as that is the only way to do it.  I have been trying to change them as I get the mail forwarded to me.

I have a Dots and Flowers Handmade Card for you today.  I began by stamping the dots from the Petal Palette stamp set using Fresh Fig.  I did a second generation stamping so they were a little lighter.  This panel was added to a Fresh Fig card base.  I used the Petals & More thinlits to cut out the decorative strip and added it to the bottom of the card front.  The rose image was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a piece of Whisper White card stock.  I then used the blender pens and ink in the lid of the Fresh Fig and Mossy Meadow stamp pads to color it in.  This piece was then added to a Mossy Meadow panel.  The panel was added to the card front using dimensionals at an angle.  I took a strip of the Petal Promenade designer series paper that was 1/2″ wide and 3″ long.  Using the 3/4″ circle punch I rounded the one end.  This strip was added to the bottom of the card front just across the lower corner of the image panel using dimensionals.  Here is the completed Dots and Flowers Handmade Card.

Ever used a long strip stamp to create a background? Here is a Dots and Flowers Handmade Card I made using the strip of dots from a stamp set.
