Double Stenciling

Hello Everyone ~ I have you ever done any Double Stenciling?

Jess went up to see Lily again last night.  They cannot get her red blood cell count to go up and stay up.  She has had 3 blood transfusions.  They were going to draw some spleen fluid and test that.  They are leaning towards an aggressive form of auto immune disease but won’t commit until they get the test results back.  This is not looking good.  This will be very hard on her if Lily does not make it.

Today I have another stencil card for you.  Over at the Card a Day Challenge blog they are having a stencil extravaganza this month.  We were given a list of different techniques to choose from.  I chose several to play with and my card today is one of those techniques.

I used a large grid stencil and applied some Old Olive ink to the back of stencil.  I spritzed the stencil with
water and set it on my watercolor paper and held it down.  I then used Bermuda Bay ink
and a make up sponge to apply ink to the stencil.  I spritzed the water color paper again and
removed the stencil.  When the watercolor
paper was dry I attached it to my Basic Black card base using Tear & Tape.  My sentiment is
from the Kinda Eclectic stamp set and is stamped in Bermuda Bay ink onto white
card stock.  I
created layers of Bermuda Bay then Old Olive card stock
and attached my sentiment to the layers.
The sentiment is added to the center of the card front using
Dimensionals.  Here is my completed card.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I am enjoying playing with stencils.  I hope you are enjoying seeing my results.  Have a Terrific Tuesday and if you get a chance try Double Stenciling to see what you can do with it.
