Good Morning Ladies ~ my Dry Embossed Snow Card came about because of a mess up.
Well Jess got all of her big stuff out and she is now officially in her new home. They worked for a long time yesterday and she was tired last night. She has some thinks to sell and she still needs to get kitchen things and a few small items but that is it. She will be very busy over the next few days getting things organized. I spent some time yesterday reorganizing my things and doing a little cleaning. I will be doing a lot of reorganizing and decluttering over the next month to get my house in order. So much to do and so little time!
My card today is the result of an Eclipse card that turned out crooked. I had the letters all cut and then realized the card was not straight. I used the letters on this card and I plan on using the Eclipse panel for a card if I can get the letters to be straight. I will play with that piece today and see if I can work it out.
I used the Colorful Seasons stamp set and Crumb Cake, Marina Mist, and Night of Navy ink for the snowflakes. After I had the letters cut out I added bits of dimensionals to the back. I took a piece of Night of Navy card stock and the Winter Wonder embossing folder ~ have I told you I will miss this embossing folder when it retires? ~ and embossed the snowflake on the left hand side of the card stock. I then added the embossed panel to a Whisper White card base. The letters were added and to finish my card I added a wooden snowflake I found I had from a few year ago. Some Wink of Stella gives it a little sparkle! Here is my Dry Embossed Snow Card.
