Dryer Sheet Snowflakes

Good Morning!

Well it is the beginning of the week.  Our weather has been cool lately.  I wonder if it will stay like this or if we will go back to warm and humid.  Yesterday was another great day I made 9 cards.  I was on a roll and I am all set for quite some time.

One of the cards I made on Saturday was for Mary Jo’s Monday Lunchtime sketch challenge.  As usual we have a fun one.

I am a member of SUDSOL and last week they had a dryer sheet technique challenge.  I decided to use this technique for my card today.  You can’t tell from the photo but the dryer sheet square has dazzling diamonds on it so it is sparkly.  I also spritzed the card with shimmer spray.  Here is my interpretation of the sketch.

If you want to see some other awesome creations, head on over to Mary Jo’s blog to see what the other design team members came up with.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I have a few more projects to get finished before I leave so I will be working on them today.  Have a Marvelous Monday!

  1. Wow…gorgeous! Cannot see the shimmer and sparkles but know it is there. Must try this technique and am anxious to play with the stars and stamps coming in a few days. Thank you for sharing this wonderful inspiration!

  2. Haven't tried this technique in a long time. Always like the look with snowflakes. Super cute card. Thanks so much for being on my TSSC team!
