Eastern Medallion Fancy Fold card

Good Morning Everyone ~ I have another Eastern Medallion Fancy Fold card for you today.

Yesterday I made a bunch of gift card holders for Jess.  She needed 9 for teacher’s gifts.  I will be sharing some of them later this week.  I went looking on Pinterest and used some of the ideas from there and modified them.  They turned out really cute.

Today I have an appointment this morning and then a workshop after that.  I need to make my thank you cards as I am behind in sending those out also.  Yesterday Remi was not herself so we were not thinking she would go to school.  She was acting like she was sick.  There is a lot going around to it is possible she has picked up a slight bug.

I have another fancy fold card today.  This one was also inspired by a scrapbook element.  I watch a lot of You Tube videos on mini albums and decided to put what I have seen to use in my cards.  I began with a modified pocket card.  I then created a flap that was attached to the upper edge of the pocket.  I used some of the Eastern Palace dsp to decorate the back of the pocket, the front of the pocket, and the flap.  I rounded the corners of the flap to soften the edge some.  I made a card for the pocket and used some of the Eastern Gold Vinyl stickers to decorate the top of the card.  I stamped my sentiment at the bottom and embossed it with gold.  I also added a sentiment under the flap that was embossed with gold.  To hold the flap closed I tied a bow using the Finely Woven ribbon in Fresh Fig.  It was attached using glue dots.  Here is my completed Eastern Medallion Fancy Fold card.
