Elegant navy card

This is the last and one of my favorite cards from the simple and elegant card box. I like how this card turned out and I think I will be making some of these for myself.

I watercolored the flower and think it looks very pretty as I played with some shading. The strip at the bottom was made with a corner pocket punch with the guard removed. I noticed Becca created these really cool medalions circle and rectangle medallions. That got me to thinking and looking at my pocket punches. I had this retired Stampin’ Up one that I played with using a strip of paper. I thought it made a cool border strip and decided to use it on this card. I really like the look. What do you think? Here is my creation.

Stamps: In Full Bloom Paper: Bashful Blue, Night of Navy, white Ink: Bashful Blue, Garden Green, Night of Navy, Palette Noir Black Accessories: ribbon (Pink Hedgehog), Square Steps Corner Pocket punch, aqua painter, Gold Spica micro flake pen, sponge dauber, sticky tape, dimensionals

Well I am headed into my craft room today to do some creating. I have not participated in challenges in a few weeks and want to try a few of them. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
