Well I spent some time in my craft room yesterday trying to get organized. I need to make my cards for my workshop this week and need to get things ready to use that room. I also started taking down my Christmas decorations. When I left last week I just left everything in the house as it was for the holidays but need to get things down and put away before the workshop. I also need to stamp as I haven’t created anything new in over 2 weeks. I am itching to make some winter cards.
This card is very similar to one I did as part of the fun and funky set. This one uses the same punch but by changing the stamp and the paper you can create a more elegant card.
After I punch the flowers I use a marker to draw lines to simulate petals. It gives the punch more depth in my opinion. I added some stickles in the center for some bling.
I often struggle with patterned paper that has swirls on it. I tried using the swirl at the bottom of the cut paper for the card and it actually turned out nice. I may just even add my own stamped swirls on patterned paper every once in a while. Here is my creation.

Stamps: Stem Silhouettes Paper: Always Artichoke, Brocade Blue, white, Le Jardin PP Ink: Always Artichoke Accessories: Flowers Trio punch, ribbon (Pink Hedgehog), icicle Stickles, sponge dauber, sticky tape, dimensionals
Thanks for looking and have a great Sunday!
Robbie
