Embedded Image Technique – Serene Silhouettes

Good Morning Everyone!

I hope you are having a good weekend and you are getting some time to create and play.  If you create anything I inspired you to do I would love it if you would share it with me.

I ran across a new challenge blog the other day.  This one uses a technique as their challenge.  Technique Time Tuesday had a great technique that I had never heard of.  I decided to use their directions and give this technique a try.

I wasn’t certain what layout I would use but the Red Hot Stampers Sketch challenge blog had a great simple one that I decided would be perfect for what I wanted to do.

Now that I had a sketch and a technique I was ready to play.  Here is what I created.

inside of card and envelope

I am not sure what I did wrong but the back of the patterned paper started showing through the front up near the blossoms.  I think it would look much better if it had not happened.  I may need to play with this technique a little more to see what I can do to avoid the bleeding through to the front.  I also used the new Illuminate Glimmer pad on the white and yellow layer on the front of the card as well as the inside of card and envelope.  I really like the look of the Glimmer pad on white.

Hope you enjoyed my card today!  Thanks for looking and have a Super Saturday!
