Good Morning Ladies ~ here is an Embossed Beautiful Day card that I am not sure of.
Bijou was glad to see me yesterday. I am sure she is not sure what is going on. The house is almost empty of furniture and she keeps seeing me pack up stuff and putting stuff in the car to donate. She will probably stick to my side for a few days but that is ok. We will spend time together and she will settle down. I am curious to see what she will do when we make the move. I need to get something to calm her down so she is not so stressed out.
I had an idea in my head when I started this card. It was inspired by one I saw on the internet. I wanted to emboss the image on vellum and then color on the back. The embossing went fine. Then I flipped it over to color on the back. I used a Blushing Bride marker first. I then wanted to add some feathering using the Rich Razzleberry marker. I was going to use the writing end of the marker but I did not have any ink in that end. I flipped it around and used the brush end. Not sure if I like the way it turned out but thought I would share and see what you think. After I colored it I cut it out. I chose a piece of the Pick a Pattern dsp and added it to the coordinating card stock. I used some of Rich Razzleberry stitched edge ribbon for my bow. To add the finishing elements, I used the largest Stitched Shapes circle framelit and added it behind the flower. I used a sentiment from Oh So Eclectic and stamped it in Rich Razzleberry. Here is my completed Embossed Beautiful Day creation.
