Embossing Paste Fireflies is very simple and cute!

Good Morning Stampers ~ I used my embossing paste again to create this cute Embossing Paste Fireflies card.

I did not get as much done as I had hoped yesterday.  I had Remi in the afternoon as Jess went for a job interview.  So needless to say I did not get that much done.  I have a workshop this morning and then I will be working on my Color Theory class.  I want to get all the projects made so I can send out the announcement.  I have a few other things I would like to get done but time will tell how much I get done.

Today I have another card where I played with the embossing paste.  This one used the embossing paste and dazzling diamonds again.  I thought the stencil I used reminded me of stars so I had to use the dazzling diamonds.  I started with spreading the embossing paste and sprinkling it with dazzling diamonds.  While it was drying I thought about what direction I wanted my card to go in.   Since I was thinking of stars it made me think of a night sky.  With that idea I created a moon by punching a large circle and sponging some clouds across it.  Nothing says night as fireflies so I stamped a bunch of them and colored the tails.   I then cut them all out.  When the background was dry, I mounted it onto a Whisper White card base.  I attached the moon in the upper left hand corner using dimensionals.  I then added the fireflies using dimensionals also.  To finish off my Embossing Paste Fireflies I used markers to ink up my sentiment.  I used the retired word window punch to punch it out and added it to my card front with dimensionals.  Here is my creation.
