Embossing vellum with your stylus tool
Happy Friday stampers – have you ever tried Embossing vellum with your stylus tool?
Today’s vellum idea is one that was a technique from quite some time ago. I love the look of the vellum with this technique and can create a beautiful card. It had been a while since I tried this technique so I had a learning curve. Some of the things I learned was to use darker colors as they will show up better, use a heavyweight vellum, don’t press too hard with your stylus or you will put a hole in the vellum, and use and open line image for the best results. Here is what I came up with.

About my card
Fresh Freesia – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
scrap for die cutting
White – 4″ x 5 1/4″
Vellum – scrap for stamping and punching
Vellum can also be used for pockets like the one on this card. Vellum also can be found with patterns like the polka dot one on the circle on this idea.
