Experimenting with stamps

I have my catalog workshop tonight. The ladies are going to make a mini cardstock ring with a sample of all the colors. The ladies love this as it is small and can fit in their purse. They will also get their new catalogs tonight. They have seen mine but are anxious to get their own so they can begin their wish lists.

My card today uses a color challenge from the The Color Dare blog. You were to use

Old Olive, Ruby Red, Cameo Coral, Very Vanilla

I combined it with the sketch challenge at the Pals Paper Arts blog. I have to admit this card turned out a lot prettier than I thought it would. I didn’t have patterned paper in these colors so I used images from the stamp set to create my own paper. Here is the sketch and my creation.

  2. Now this one is beautiful. I love everything about it. I love that stamp set and I don't have it. It makes up such a pretty card.I never think about making my own paper if I don't have designer paper to match. I have to put a reminder note on my desk. I usually just change the colors. Sandy
