I wanted to try Michelle Zindorf’s/ brayering techniques on this card so I checked out her blog to see how to she does it. I began by brayering on Bashful Blue going down the card to about the middle. Next I brayered on Ballet Blue but stopped so that I didn’t cover up all the Bashful Blue. Next I tore a strip of sticky note to form the ground. I then stamped the trees with Chocolate Chip making sure that the ground portion of the stamp was on the sticky note. I then turned the sticky note upside down and sponged on Bashful Blue to form the hills of snow (this may need some readjusting of the sticky note to make sure the trunks are not in the air). I then tore another sticky note to make the road for the truck. To finish the scene I sponged more Ballet Blue in the upper corners to add some interest.
Next I stamped the truck with Chocolate Chip on Kraft. To give it some dimension I used Sahara Sand to outline the lines then used a blender pen to blend it in. I used a Going Gray marker to color the tires and added some Stardust gel pen on the bumpers and hubcaps. I cut out the truck and cut out the windshields since it was stamped on Kraft.
To make it a fun card I wanted to add snowballs to the back of the truck. I used a circle punch to punch my snowballs and then sponged the edges with Bordering Blue. I used mono to layer then in the back of the truck and then added some sticky tape to the back to ensure they stayed in place. Since the snowballs are so big, I decided they would be used for a snowman rather than a snowball fight. I added a snowflake brad in the upper corner and then put the layers together.
After I got the layers put on the card, it needed something and I couldn’t figure out what it was. I went back to Michelle’s blog and checked out some of her cards. After looking at her cards I decided to try photo corners. I punched out 2 in black and laid them on the card. It was what I needed but decided to add some brads for interest. My card was finally finished. Let me know what you think of all my experimenting. Here is my creation.

I like this Robbie and no flowers. It's a great idea for a guys card as well. Haven't tried the brayer yet. Everything coordinated nicely with your layout and I liked the colors. Sandy
Great idea with the snowballs in the back of the truck! Such a fun card and the brayering is awesome!
