Hello Stampers ~ I don’t know about you but I love a Fabulous Jar of Flowers!
So yesterday I had a workshop, made my video for tomorrow, worked on a card I had started and was able to finish it, as well as cut and prepare for my class today. It was not a hectic day as I took my time and even had some time to plan my Christmas cards. Today I will work on my Christmas cards, edit my video for tomorrow, and then I have 2 workshops this afternoon. It will be another relaxing day and I will get done what I can. What plans do you have?
The Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge blog has a sketch challenge this time.
I wasn’t sure how to attack this sketch. The large pocket shape threw me for a loop. I started looking at my stamp sets to see if I could find something I could use. I ran across the Jar of Love and knew I could make it work. I did take some liberty with the placement of the jar. I stamped the jar on a scrap of Whisper White and used the framelits to cut it out. A Soft Sky Marker was used to color in some water in the jar. This was mounted onto a panel of Whisper White card stock. I then use the leaf sprays to stamp them so the tips were in the water and the head was outside the jar. I attached this panel to a Rose Red card base. On another scrap of paper I stamped the little flower from the stamp set in Crushed Curry and Rose Red. The matching framelit cut them out. The flowers were added randomly using glue dots and mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The sentiment was created using Tabs for Everything and stamped on a piece of Crushed Curry. The end was punched with the Pansy Punch. This was added to the card base using dimensionals. To finish the card Whisper White baker’s twine was tied around the front. Here is my completed creation.
