Hello Stampers ~ I have a great Fancy Card Front for you today.
Well I am headed to Jess’ today. They had some snow yesterday but it is supposed to be around 50 today so most of it will be melted by the time I get there. We are having Remi’s birthday party on Saturday. Both girls have gymnastics this weekend ~ Zoie’s is Friday evening and Remi’s is Saturday morning. I will be going to both classes so I can see them. This will be my first time seeing their classes. I am excited. If I can I will get some pictures to share with you.
I saw this idea for a card online from another company. They had used dies to create the cut at the top and the bottom. I did not have a thinlit that would give me the shape so I cut it by hand. I began by stamping my flowers using first and second generation stamping of the flowers. Now it was time to cut the shape at the top. Once I cut the top shape, I flipped it over and cut the bottom shape to mimic the top shape. I then used a piece of Basic Black and attached it to the top and bottom and used the same shape to cut the black so it was a small layer to highlight the shape on the Whisper White. Once I had the panel created I added it to a piece of the Botanical Butterfly black and white designer series paper. This piece was then added to a Melon Mambo layer. These layered panels were added to a Whisper White card base. The sentiment was stamped using Melon Mambo and a Black Organdy glitter ribbon was tied in a bow and added to the flowers using a glue dot. To finish up the card some rhinestones were added. Here is the completed Fancy Card Front creation.
