Hello everyone – check out how easy today’s Fancy fold using sketch 9 card is to make.

Vicky and I are sharing fun folds this month. I decided to see if I could use a sketch and make a fun fold.

I recently got the Splendid Autumn dsp. This pattern paper is another in the line of scenic papers. I decided to use it along with sketch 9 for my card.

Since the sketch had strips of paper across the front I began by choosing some of my scraps to use for this card. I chose the size of the card panel for the front of the card and determined the size for my strips. After they were layered on the white panel it was added to a mini card base. This was then added to the card size panel with another pattern from the dsp collection. A sentiment was added and the card was ready to be mailed. Here is the completed fun fold idea.

About my card

Gorgeous Grape – 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
                                3 1/4″ x 8 1/4″ scored on long side at 4 1/8″
                                 scrap for punching
White – 3″ x 4″
               scrap for stamping and punching
Splendid Autumn dsp – Sunset with purple sky 4″ x 5 1/4″
                                          7 Strips of various patterns 1/2″ x 2 3/4″
