Oops, my scheduled post didn’t work. Sorry it is late!
Good Morning Ladies!
I have my technique class tonight and we are going to be doing the faux mother of pearl. I have loved the cards made with this and thought my ladies would like to do it also. I tried several different ways to do this and got one that I was happy with. I may play some more before class tonight to see if I can perfect it even more. If you want a tutorial Splitcoast has one and if you want to see a video Frenchie has it here. I used the shimmer paint like Frenchie. I also did not like the black stamped image with it colored in so I modified it and colored my image with a marker and stamped it on the paper.
I used the sketch challenge from The Paper Players and flipped it.
I used the color challenge from Create, Ink!
Here is my creation.
the shimmer you can’t see in the above picture
So, are you going to try this technique? Grab your supplies and give it a try, it is lots of fun! Hope you enjoyed my card. Thanks for looking and have a Wonderful Wednesday!
Robbie
