Faux Watercolor card that has a big impact

Happy Friday Stampers ~ I have a fun Faux Watercolor card today that is very pretty.

Yesterday was a mish mash of tasks for me.  I did some knitting and unknitting again yesterday.  I did manage to get about 15 rows completed by the time all was said and done.  Then I had some cards I needed to get ready for mailing so I have them all set to mail.  I also needed to update my class schedule on here and my DWBS so I got that done.  Then I had to edit the video for today.  Now I am working on my post so I can schedule it for tomorrow.

I saw a video by Sandy Allnock that I wanted to see if I could recreate it using our supplies.  I am happy to say I was able to create the same Faux Watercolor look she achieved.  I did do some modifying to use our watercolor markers as she said this will work with any watercolor markers.  I had so much fun creating this look and will be do the same technique with other stamps to see what it looks like.  Here is the video of the technique.

In the video I did not show the completed card as it was already pretty long.  Here is a picture of my creation.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  I have a class this morning and then I am having my tires rotated and fluids checked for our trip next week.  Would rather be in my craft room!  Have a Fabulous Friday and if you decide to try Faux Watercolor please share your project with me as I would love to see it.
