February 2018 Paper Pumpkin Alternative

Hello Ladies ~ I created this February 2018 Paper Pumpkin Alternative card using the letters from the cut out.

Well I survived the cleaning.  I managed to get my clothes moved back downstairs and organized into my closet.  I also organized the hangers in the closet upstairs.  I still have more hangers to organize and then I will be attacking more of that room.  A lot of the room will be packaged in bins for my move so it won’t be hard.  There are some boxes I need to check out to see what is in them.  Not sure as that closet has not been touched in 4 years when the girls moved in with me.  I am sure a lot of it will be thrown out!

I needed to do my thank you cards for my customers who ordered from me.  I am behind as these cards are for January.  I also made February’s cards so those will be mailed out next week.  The February 2018 Paper Pumpkin had some thank you cards I could use to send to my ladies.  When I looked at the directions there was a self adhesive panel that had cut out letters on it.  The panel was used on the card but not the letters.  I thought I could use the letters to make a similar card as the one in the kit.  I had to think of a way to keep the letters in place once I took the panel off and then how to transfer the letters to my cut out panel.  I remembered I had used Press ‘n Seal to transfer letters once before so I decided to see if it would work on this.  I took my piece of Press ‘n Seal and pushed it down onto my panel.  I paid extra attention to the letters making sure they were stuck to the Press ‘n Seal.  I then carefully pulled the entire panel and letters off of the paper.  Very carefully I took the panel off the Press ‘n Seal leaving the letters on the plastic.  The card was then assembled using the directions from Stampin’ Up.  Here is what the card looks like.

To make my alternative version, I used the Lots of Labels framelits and cut out the panel that is the same size as the original panel.  I used some of the Delightful Daisy dsp for my panel.  After I had my panel cut out I took the Press ‘n Seal with the letters on it and put them on the panel making sure it was evenly spaced and straight.  I then pressed the self adhesive letters down onto the panel.  Taking a panel of Wisteria Wonder it was embossed using the Layered Leaves embossing folder.  Whisper White bakers twin was wrapped around it  and tied with a bow.  This panel was attached to the Wisteria Wonder card base.  To finish the card the thank you panel was added using dimensionals.  Here is the completed February 2018 Paper Pumpkin Alternative creation.
