Hello Stampers ~ the Feels Like Frost dsp Baby It’s Cold Outside does not go with our current weather but it fit the card perfectly.
Wow was I running yesterday. I did my walk and then came back and cleaned the upstairs bath and dust mopped the downstairs. I then played cards at the Pavillion. We then went to the movies. We saw Downton Abbey. It was fabulous! I loved watching the series when it was on and the movie took up right where the series left off. After the movie we went to get pizza. Busy day! Today I am excited as I am hosting some Stampin’ Up demos. There are 4 demos who are coming. I am excited to get together with them and share ideas and do some crafting.
Today’s card is another in the Feels Like Frost dsp series. The card uses one of the papers from the stack. I decided to use a retired Christmas stamp set with this one. I chose the tree from Timeless Tidings and decided to see if I could mimic the look of the trees in the paper. To do that I inked the tree up with Versamark and then Crumb Cake. I stamped it onto Whisper White card stock. I then used my mixture of white embossing powder and Hollogram embossing powder to emboss the tree. The 1 3/4″ circle punch was used to punch it out. For the layer I again went to my craft stash and found some retired Sweet Sugarplum glitter paper. The 2″ punch was used to punch out a circle. I layered the 2 circles using glue dots. For the card, I cut the paper down and mounted it onto a card base of Rococo Rose. The circle element was added using dimensionals. I wanted a sentiment that fit the paper so I again went shopping in my craft stash and found the perfect sentiment in Project Life Holiday Cheer. I stamped it using Rococo Rose and then cut it down and flagged the end using the Banner Triple punch. My Feels Like Frost dsp Baby It’s Cold Outside card is complete.
