Good Morning Stampers ~ today’s share is a Feels Like Frost with Night of Navy.
It is Thursday morning and I am sitting here writing posts and listening to the news. There have been numerous tornadoes south of me and the storm hasn’t even gotten here yet. Barb came up with a plan in case we had to leave quickly. We both packed a bag and I packed stuff for Bijou. If we have to get out of here, Bijou and I are going with them in Doug’s truck. I am hoping that I did not have to leave. In the mean time I am working on posts so that I have them set up through Tuesday.
For today’s card I chose to use the navy colored piece. The image pairs well with the Dandelion Wishes stamp set. I chose the single dandelion and inked it up using Night of Navy ink. I did mask off some of the seeds on the far side of the image as I wanted a smaller image. I stamped it onto a scrap of Whisper White. I pulled out the Colorful Seasons stamp set and using my marker I inked up just the “smile” from the sentiment and stamped it in the lower right hand corner. I cut the panel down and then mounted it onto a piece of Silver foil paper. Next I used a strip of Whisper White and the Lace embossing folder and embossed it. This strip was attached to the upper portion of a Seaside Spray panel that measured 4″ x 5 1/4″. A 2″ strip of the Feels Like Frost dsp was cut and then attached along the left hand side of the Seaside Spray panel. Silver metallic ribbon was added to the lower portion of the panel using Tear & Tape. The panel was then attached to a Night of Navy card base. To finish the card, the image panel was added to the lower right hand corner using dimensionals. Here is the completed Feels Like Frost with Night of Navy creation.
