I was blurfing this morning and saw a card posted where they had used wide ribbon and put a narrower ribbon on top. A light bulb went off and I thought of my wide grosgrain and how I could use some of my stash up in this way.
I used the sketch from 2 Sketches 4 You. I also combined it with the color challenge from the Colour Create blog. I like the looks of this card and glad I found a way to use my wide grosgrain. Tell me what you think. Here is the sketch and my creation.
inside of card
Stamps: Petal Pizzazz Paper: Green Galore, white, Rainbow Sherbert DS Ink: Green Galore, Only Orange, Pink Passion Accessories: brads (Pink Hedgehog), lattice arch border punch (Martha Stewart), grosgrain ribbon (given to me by a friend), black ribbon (Michael’s), sponge dauber, sticky tape, dimensionals
Hope you enjoyed today’s card. Thanks for looking and have Super Saturday!
