Freezin’ Fun from Stampin’ Up

Hello Everyone ~ my online class using Freezin’ Fun from Stampin’ Up is still taking registrations.

I have had so much fun with this bundle.  The cards are so easy to design as the images do all the work.  Adding the coordinating dies means you can cut out your images quickly and easily.  Here is a picture of the stamp set and dies in case you are wondering what they look like.

Can you imagine the cute winter cards you can make using this set?  The blues, teals, and purples of winter snow are perfect colors to use when designing your cards.  If you need some inspiration, check out these ideas Stampin’ Up shared!

There are several ways you can color these images.  You can use Stampin’ Up blends, markers, ink in the lid, blender pen, blender pen with glycerine, and even our watercolor pencils.

Keeping your card front clean and simple is easy if you use some designer series paper.  The Snowflake Splendor paper has lots of images of snowflakes that make a great background. The Trimming the Town paper has mountains, snowflakes, and stripes that pair well with the set.  But if you think of flannel when someone mentions winter how about the Plaid Tidings paper with all those cute plaid combinations.  Using designer series paper also makes it easy to choose what colors to use for your card.  Check out this idea where the penguin was colored using the watercolor pencils and a plaid background was added.
