Hello Stampers ~ We had a color challenge and I created this Fun Colorful Seasons Idea.
I am so excited! Barb and Doug came over last evening and we hung a lot of my pictures. I still have some to hand but I can do those. I also ordered a new rug. I had one that worked with my color scheme and one that did not. The interior decorator suggested a different rug and to move out the one that did not fit. The rug should be here on Thursday so I will be busy that day rearranging my rugs and finalizing my furniture placement. I an starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel downstairs. Then all I need to do is finish organizing my studio. I will work on that at the end of next week after my family has gone.
Our challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments was a color challenge.
These colors were a real challenge for me. I did not have any idea how to work in the Cherry Cobbler. So I began with that color with the Soft Suede and knew I could use Colorful Seasons branch and flowers. I stamped the branch several times from both directions on my Whisper White panel. Then using the flowers I did a second generation stamping several times on the same branch. Once I had all my flowers stamped I still had to bring in the Pretty Peacock. I went looking at my stamp sets and the bubbles in Beauty Abounds would be perfect. Since my Pretty Peacock stamp pad is new I decided to use a second generation stamping of the bubbles also. Now that I have all my colors used, the bottom of the card was bare. I opted for a sentiment from the Colorful Season set and did a second generation stamping of it. To add my bow I used some retired Whisper White sheer ribbon and dye it using the Pretty Peacock reinker. When it was dry I attached it to the bottom of my panel and added a bow. this panel was mounted onto a Pretty Peacock card base. Here is the completed Fun Colorful Seasons Idea.

This is such a pretty card and matching envelope! I love how you worked in the Cherry Cobbler – it makes the prettiest flowers! Great take on the color challenge 🙂
Thanks Carol! It definitely was a challenge with those colors. I appreciate your taking time to leave me a comment.
