Fun fold with Simply Zinnia

Hello everyone – the card today is a Fun fold with Simply Zinnia idea that is easy to do.

We have a new month so Vicky and I are doing something new. This month we are going to share some fun folds with you. Make sure you check out Vicky’s idea after you see mine.

I love making fun folds and sharing them with you. You can do really elaborate ones or simple ones. I have a simple idea for you today. I saw a similar fun fold and decided to make my version. I began with the Flowering Zinnias dsp and got my colors. I knew the Spotlight on Nature dies would be perfect for the flap – I love those dies! All I had to do was figure out the sizes and make the card. Here is what I created.

About my card

White – 4 1/4″ x 9 1/2″ scored at 45 1/2″
1 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ scored on one short end at 3/4″
scraps for stamping and die cutting
Blackberry Bliss – 3 3/4″ x 4″
Old Olive – 1 3/4″ x 4″
Flowering Zinnia dsp – Green diagonal stripe 1 5/8″ x 3 7/8″
Gorgeous Grape plaid 3 5/8″ x 3 7/8″

I have not played with this stamp set much but I did create this idea for my embossing series.
