Fun technique using shaped stencils

Fun technique using shaped stencils

Hello everyone – I shared a Fun technique using shaped stencils in a Facebook Live and did not share one of the card ideas I made here.

I saw this idea from the Penny Black company and had to see if I could make it. I used the inked and tiled and colored the stamp with markers to get the 3 colors. I then stamped it on my card stock. Using a square stencil I outlined the inside of the square using a Smoky Slate marker.

To add interest think about inking up the border around your card base with the colors used on your card for a fun colorful image. Check out this idea.

If you would like to see the Facebook Live, here is the link. There was an issue with the sound but I get it worked out. You can skip ahead about 5 minutes to miss the chit chat.

I have used both of these stamp sets a lot. Here is another idea for the Inked & Tiled stamp set. The Translucent Florals was used to make this colorful card idea.

Here are the supplies you will need to make your version of the card.
