Fun with dies for unique card
Hello Everyone – I played again with another idea from Positively Papercraft for the Fun with dies for unique card idea.
I love the simplicity of this card and the fact that it places all the focus on the central image. Using your stitched squares in a different way was lots of fun. I love how the dsp highlights the White card and butterfly. While the card looks complicated it really isn’t. Look at how the dsp sets off the unique layout.
After I had the card made I wanted something small to go in the center of the diamond to not detract from the fun layout. The Meadow dies had a small butterfly that I could cut out and add to highlight the fun use of the dies.
Look at how the squares were used in the center of the diamond. Such a great way to extend the use of your dies.
The coordinating stamp set to the dies does not have a butterfly. I used the negative space left when I cut out the butterfly to ink the image in an ombre look for the inside of the card and envelope. I was attempting to mimic the dsp.

Looking for another idea to use these dies? Check out this card that uses it as a window on the front of the card. The card uses the 2 smaller dies to create a platform for the flowers.
I love sharing ideas for ways to use your products in unique ways. This was just 1 I ran across that intrigued me and I had to figure out how to do it so I could share it with you.
