Garden Lane Designer Series Paper Idea #2

Happy Monday Everyone ~ I have a Garden Lane Designer Series Paper Idea #2 for you today.

I got all my tasks accomplished yesterday before the girls got here.  I even had time to do my ironing and to dust all the trim.  I was busy all day with a few breaks but most of the time I was working.  I knew I had to get it all done so I could spend time with the girls.  Today we are headed to Aurora to do the fossil dig.  I am going today as the temperature is the coolest it is going to be over the next 3 days.  We will probably be back early that I may be able to take them to the pool for a bit.  I have the aquarium and the movies if I need it for any days it might rain.  I will play those days by ear to see what the weather gives us.

I have another Garden Lane Designer Series Paper card today.  This is number 2 using this paper.  If you did not see the first one, here is where you will find my Stampin’ Up Garden Lane Designer Series Paper Week first post.   This one I combined with the Itty Bitty Greetings and  Love What You Do stamp sets.  To my Whisper White card base I added a piece of Soft Sea Foam card stock.  To that I added a piece of the designer series paper.  I created a strip using some Garden Green card stock and a different piece of the designer series paper.  This strip was added down the left hand side of the card base.  A piece of Whisper White was used and the flower spray that reminded me of the flower spray on the designer series paper was stamped using Soft Sea Foam ink.  This piece was attached to a a piece of Soft Sea Foam card stock.  This panel was added to the card base on the left hand side using dimensionals.  The Bouquet Bunch and Frosted Bouquet dies were used to cut some leaf and sprig sprays out of vellum.  The sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings was stamped using Garden Green ink.  It was then punched out using the 1″ circle punch.  I used the retired 1 1/4″ circle punch to punch out a Garden Green circle.  The 2 circles were attached and then the sentiment was added to the card front using dimensionals.  Here is my completed Garden Lane Designer Series Paper Idea #2.

Check out this cute idea for my Garden Lane Designer Series Paper week. This one uses a stamp set that mimics the flower spray in the designer series paper. Here is my Garden Lane Designer Series Paper Idea #2.
