Get your Sunglasses!

Wow I have a hard time making Halloween cards before Ocotober gets here, but once it does I just love it. I have pulled out all my Halloween ribbon, paper, embellishments, and stamps.  My room is a disaster and I have a workshop next week.  I guess I will spend Monday cleaning up! 🙁

I was checking out my blogs and saw Taylor’s cupcake challenge.  I liked the layout since it was a way to use wide ribbon so even though I didn’t have cupcakes I decided to play along.  Speaking of ribbon, do you see the orange ribbon on the card?  You will never guess where I got it.  A friend of mine gave it to me as it was found in with some other things and they knew they would never use it.  It still had the price tag on it.  The price tag was for clearance and the price was only $.10.  Tells you how long ago that could have been.

See the background on the stamp (the black).  I did it with the bath poof.  I am really loving that effect (although I don’t think the black is as nice as the card from yesterday).  Well enough blabbing.  Here is the sketch and the card.

Stamps: TAC – sorry I don’t know the name Paper: Kiwi Kiss, white, Simply Spooky PP (TAC) Ink: Palette Noir Back, Old Olive, More Mustard, So Saffron Accessories: Fiskars Paper Edgers – Colonial, circle cutter, orange ribbon (friend), black polka dot ribbon (Michael’s), Basic Black -Close to Cocoa – Pumpkin Pie – Summer Sun markers, circular weaving form, dimensionals
I am really enjoying these cards.  My friends who get them will like them also.  I hope you enjoyed the 2 posts today.  If you did let me know.  Thanks for looking and have a great weekend!
