Glimmer Paper

Good Morning Everyone ~ Did you get any of the glimmer paper that was part of Sale-abration?

Well I did get a lot done yesterday in my craft room.  I got my cards for my workshop next week completed as well as a few cards to post later this week.  I did not get my bathrooms cleaned so I will be doing those today.  I will also be working on Zoie’s Cinderella page as I want to get that done also.  It will be a busy day today!  Good thing I have a massage this morning!

Our Coloring Down the Lines blog hop is today.  Here is our challenge for this week.

There were several items in Sale-abration that I would love to see in the new annual catalog.  I have to say the one that I loved the most was the glimmer paper!  You know me and bling, I love it!  Having glimmer paper in different colors would be my dream.  We have red and pink but then the other colors are in the metallic range.  I would love to have some in other colors.  How about you?

For my card today I used the Bermuda Bay glimmer paper and the Swirly Scribbles thinlits.  I used the wavy thinlit to create waves.  Then I used the Swirly Bird stamp set to stamp my sailboat.  Once I had my waves and sailboat I needed a sun so I pulled out the Kinda Eclectic set and used the large burst to stamp my sun.  Here is my completed creation.

Are you curious as to what the other ladies would like to see in the new catalog?  Hop on over to Helen’s blog – Blue Dahlia Designs to see what she liked.  Make sure you leave her some love as well as the other ladies on the hop.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you today.  What plans do your have for today?  Have a Wonderful Wednesday and was the glimmer paper one of your favorite Sale-abration items?

  1. So very nice. I, too, love the glimmer paper. I think it WILL make it to the new catalog, but perhaps in other colors. We will see. I also love these little waves that can be used so many different ways. Good challenge.
