Hello Everyone ~ Today I used my favorite coloring technique for the Glycerin Colored Serene Garden creation.
By the time you read this I should be home. It was a crazy busy weekend and I will need this week to recuperate. I have a few meetings for the house but other than that I do not have any plans. I will need to do a little grocery shopping but no plans for anything else. It will be nice to have a relaxing week.
Today I am taking part in the NC Demo blog hop. I am excited to do this hop again this month. You may have arrived here from Sue’s blog ~ Stampin’ With Sue. If you are just starting, don’t worry you can continue along to visit everyone. You will want to see all the ideas for out theme ~ “Keeping it in the lines”. We were to do ANYTHING with coloring and coloring techniques.
I decided to do my current favorite coloring technique ~ coloring with glycerin. I thought it would be fun to use the Serene Garden stamp set. I chose to use Merry Merlot with Pear Pizzazz for the coloring. Here is the video showing how I colored the image.
So you can see all the details, here is the photo of the card.

If you enjoyed seeing this idea, check out my Stampin’ Up Colored Tea Time post. I colored on colored card stock in this one.
Now it is time to continue on the blog hop. Your next stop is Sue’s blog ~ Sue’s Super Stampers.

Yes, you did! Very inspirational!
Thanks Anita!
Beautiful card, Robbie! Thanks for participating!
Thanks Tracie!
I’ve never tried coloring with glycerin. Your beautiful card shows off the technique very nicely.
It is my favorite way to color now. You should give it a try! Thanks!
Very pretty card.
Thanks Jo Anne!
Beautiful card – that is one of my favorite stamp sets this year. I have never used the glycerin. Thanks for the video.
You are quite welcome Sharon! I appreciate your taking time to send me a sweet message.
Oh, Robbie! It’s absolutely beautiful!
Thanks Cathy! I appreciate your taking time to send me a message.
Such a pretty card! And I’ve never used the glycerin technique, but have done something similar with baby oil. Now I need to check baby oil and see if there is glycerin in it because the results are very similar 🙂
Thanks Toni! You can use baby oil also. I find the baby oil leaves your card oily but the glycerine doesn’t. That is why I use the glycerine instead.
