Gotta Love Cherry, Daffodil, and Black

Can you believe that football season is starting? The first football game of the season was on Sunday. With the temperatures close to 100 and high humidity it was so hard to think about football. But I guess it will be here soon.

I began with the sketch challenge at Stamping 411 . I realized I hadn’t used my Fifth Avenue Floral set in a while so I pulled it out. I thought it would be fun to do some watercoloring since I hadn’t done that in a while also. I used another of my favorite color combos today. I love yellow, red, and black. I pulled my Brights DS Patterned Paper pack and used the polka dot pattern. I stamped my lily masking it as I went down the paper. I then used Cherry Cobbler and my aqua painter to color in the flowers. Once I was finished it was just a matter of putting my card together.

One of the benefits of being a demo is the demo only website where other demos post their cards. Each week they have a featured stamper where you choose a card in their gallery and case it. This week it was Vicki Burdick. I was looking through her gallery and found one I really liked. When I hadn’t finished my card for today I realized it was almost a case of Vicki’s card. Let me know what you think.

I am still playing with the iWatermark and iPhoto program. Each time I use it I figure out something new. I used the enhance button on my photos today and I am not sure I like it. I still have to get the color figured out. I will keep plugging away. Thanks for looking and have a Terrific Tuesday!
