Since you decided to check out my blog, I have a great Father’s Day card for you. This card was made using the sketch from the Creative Belli Blog. They gave you a sketch that you were supposed to use it to make a Father’s Day Card. I also combined it with the All That Scraps Blog challenge which was to use the grid technique. I hadn’t done this technique for a while and I thought it would be a good one to use on this card.
I had a stamp that I had not used yet. I bought it to do the bead stained glass technique and had not used it yet. I used a marker to color just the outline of the sailboat for this card. After I stamped it I used the marker to trace over the stamped lines so I would have a bold image. For the sun I took a piece of paper and working in a circular motion I put down Yoyo Yellow first. I then used a little More Mustard around the edges and ended with Pumpkin Pie. Here is the sketch and my creation.

Oh this is wonderful! Love the "rope" on the front and how you stamped the inside on the card to look like dry land after being at sea.
