Second post. Scroll down for first post today!
I am so excited. I am the featured stamper at Card Sketch A Day. I have done a couple of sketches for Susan and when I asked for a sketch for February she asked if I would do one of her Saturday Spotlights. I immediately said yes.
She sent me the sketch for the Saturday cards and I then had to create an original card which she will post the sketch she made from my card long with my original card. If you get a chance you should check out her site. She does a great job with the sketches and it is fun to see what others come up with.
On the Easter card, I stamped the chick on the Kraft. I then stamped it again on So Saffron and the Cutie Pie PP. I cut out the pieces I needed and mounted it on the Kraft. I popped the shell for some dimension. I punched the Designer Label out of So Saffron and mounted it on the Real Red. Then I cut around the punched label to get the red layer.
On the second card, I used the embosslet and cut out the flower in Kiwi and Raspberry Tart PP. I then layered the flower part on the Kiwi. I outlined each part with an Old Olive and Rose Red marker. I then ikned the matching stamp with the same colors and stamped repeatedly to make the border at the bottom. I punched the white layer with the lattice punch. Since you didn’t really notice the punched side I used a sponge and inked the lattice with Rose Red. For the label, I stamped the sentiment and then cut it to fit into the Round Tab punch. I punched the one side then turned the paper and punched the other side. I repeated this procedure with a piece of Rose Red that was a little larger than the white. I finished it by using Kittie’s ribbon tying tutorial for a multiple loop bow.
Here is the sketch and my 2 cards (you’ll have to come back tomorrow to see the original).

Robbie, both of these cards are just fantastic. Congratulations on being featured on Card Sketch a Day.
Robbie I love this card. The flower paper and the placement of the flower were absolutely beautiful. Sandy
