Happy Mid Week Stampers!
I had several appointments yesterday and did not have as much time in my craft room as I had hoped. I did get a little bit of time to make my card for today as well as one for tomorrow. I am hoping to finish my video as well as make a few more projects for the rest of the week.
Our Coloring Down the Lines hop is today. This week our colors were chosen by me.
Stampin’ Up color matches
I have been in a quick and easy mode lately so I went looking for a sketch that would fit the bill. I found on at Less is More and decided to use their sketch.
I knew I needed to keep with my Halloween theme and these colors were going to be a challenge. I was hoping the sketch would help me out. I did take the base and flipped it but not the arrow element. I looked at the images in my Halloween set and decided to try the jack-o-lantern with the Cajun Craze. I stamped them on Vanilla and then cut them out with the matching framelit. I then used the spiders to stamp a background. I had stamped them all over creating my own patterned paper. When I put the jack-o-lanterns on the page they were lost. I then decided to redo the background and just add 3 spiders. I then used my silver spica pen to add the spider thread. My card was complete. Here is what it looks like.
