Hand Stamped Cheers!

Good Morning Everyone!

Well it rained all day today and is supposed to rain through Wednesday.  Perfect for being creative and spending time in your craft room.  I was only able to get in there a little bit yesterday as I had to go to the post office and then went to Lowe’s to buy a new cooktop.  I am hoping to spend more time in there today.

Our challenge this time at Hand Stamped Sentiments is a color challenge.

I knew with these colors I had to do something clean and simple.  I found a perfect sketch for that at CAS Colours & Sketches.

This sketch was a real challenge to come up with an idea.  Add in our color challenge and you can imagine the real challenge I had.  I looked through my catalog and ran across the Stamp a Bag set.  I decided to try the zig zag stamp in black and gold on vanilla to address the colors.  After I stamped the zig zags I cut them out and offset them as in the sketch.  All I needed then was something to pull it all together.  I thought about a sentiment so I went looking at my thinlets and found the perfect on in the Greetings Thinlets.  I cut it out of gold glimmer paper and my card was completed.  Here is my creation.

We would love to have you join us this week for our color challenge.  What can you do with these colors?  Make your card and then link it up at Hand Stamped Sentiments.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Take some to play along with both of these challenges.  They are lots of fun!  Have a Terrific Tuesday!
